Our story
Built on more than two decades of production experience.
20+Years in game production
Patagon Digital was founded by Martin Bartsch after more than two decades working in games and animation. Martin began his career at DigiPen and went on to work with studios across the games industry, including Sierra Entertainment, ArenaNet, and Monolith Productions. His experience spans character animation, cinematics, and camera layout. That experience still shapes how the studio works today: understand the production, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for the result.
Martin runs Patagon Digital with his wife, Paulina, who oversees studio operations and supports the team behind the work. Together, they have built a small, hands-on company where artists are supported, expectations stay clear, and decisions do not disappear into layers of management.
Patagon Digital is based in Puerto Montt, at the northern gateway to Chilean Patagonia. It operates as a remote studio and works primarily with animators in Chile. One of its goals is to connect Chilean talent with game productions around the world, giving local artists the opportunity to build long-term international experience while offering clients a close, capable production team.
We stay deliberately small. It keeps communication direct, feedback practical, and ownership clear. Clients know who is responsible, artists understand the larger production context, and the work gets the attention it needs from the first brief through final delivery.
